Jake and Friends

Not only have I benefited from the class, my son enjoys attending as well. He loves to watch and play with the other babies. It has been a great opportunity for him to be around other children and is fun to watch them interact.

StrollerFit helps to provide the social interaction with other children that he would receive if he attended a day care program. We recently invited the class to our house to celebrate his first birthday. Everyone had a great time and helped to make his birthday a memorable event.

If someone were to ask me about the StrollerFit class, I would definitely recommend it. It’s interesting to watch the reaction of first time moms as they attend the class. Many come to the class thinking that we sit around on mats, sing songs, and play with our babies. They quickly discover that we mean business and are there to SWEAT!

This is no easy exercise class. It’s physically demanding and the instructors are there to help you push yourself. While I have attended the class, we have had several dads and grandmothers who have come to watch a class. The look on their faces is priceless! They obviously are surprised at how challenging the class is. They don’t realize how much can be done with a stroller in tow! The developers of the StrollerFit program should definitely be commended for their creativity!

Although the class is challenging, there is no pressure from the instructor or other classmates to overexert yourself in order to keep up. Everyone is encouraged to work at her own level while at the same time motivated to push a little harder. This is what I like about the class. There are a variety of ages and body types in the class so no one is made to feel uncomfortable. Everyone is encouraged to work at her own pace.

StrollerFit has certainly helped make the transition into a new city much easier. I have met some wonderful new friends and have an exercise program that I attend regularly. My husband recently asked casually how I would feel about relocating again. I immediately replied, “NO! I can’t leave StrollerFit!!” It has truly been more than an exercise class for me.
